Enrollment: Fall 2026 Key Ideas in the Philosophy of Mind

Thanks for your interest. For general information on the course, please see partiallyexaminedlife.com/class. By enrolling for this class, you are agreeing to these class policies.

The form below will allow you to register and pay for the Saturday (11:30am ET, first class 8/29), Monday (1pm ET, first class 8/31), or Wednesday (9pm ET, first class 9/2) sections (for $310; there is now a discounted rate for the Wed. section: $295, as I have more slots still available in that one).

Even if you would prefer another time, if you CAN attend one of the above times and would be OK with doing so another option is not offered, go ahead and enroll to reserve your spot, but contact me to indicate that you’d really prefer another time (if you did not already tell me this).

Please also email me at mark.linsenmayer@gmail.com if:

  • You would prefer to pay via some other method.
  • You try to register and it says the section is full; it’s possible that there is still room, or I could add a fourth option.
  • If you can’t attend any of the times offered but want to take the course anyway.
  • You have any questions about the course content or policies.
  • You need to arrange a payment plan or would like to discuss a possible tuition discount.

If you register but don’t get a confirmation email (not even in your spam folder), this means that your payment didn’t actually go through. Just trying again typically works. In the event that you erroneously pay twice, I’ll refund one of the charges immediately.

There is also a less expensive purchasing option to JUST obtain the recordings for the classes without attending. These will be released as the sessions occur. If you’d like to purchase the recordings for a past class instead of this one, please contact me.

About The Partially Examined Life

The Partially Examined Life is a philosophy podcast by some guys who were at one point set on doing philosophy for a living but then thought better of it. Each episode, we pick a text and chat about it with some balance between insight and flippancy. You don’t have to know any philosophy, or even to have read the text we’re talking about to (mostly) follow and (hopefully) enjoy the discussion
