The call will take place via Zoom on Friday, August 6th for two hours starting at 4pm Eastern Time (so 1pm Pacific Time, 9pm in the UK, and and 6am in Sydney Australia).
How your ticket purchase will work:
After your purchase goes through, you should receive an automated message from the store saying so. If you don't see it, check your spam filter.
Within a day or two, Mark will add your email to a Google calendar item, which will send an invite to your email address that includes the Zoom link. This will ensure your spot in the seminar. (Zoom calls admit 100 people, so we're not anticipating this will be a problem.) For obvious reasons, please don't post or otherwise circulate the Zoom URL.
If you're not seeing these communications, feel absolutely free to email us to see what's up.
Please try to make your purchase at least two hours before the event. If you decide at the last minute that you'd like to go, go ahead and try, but if we don't see the purchase in time, or if the seminar has already started, then you won't get your invite. (However, we will refund your money after the event.)
If for whatever reason the seminar gets cancelled (e.g. Mark's Zoom just won't work on the day), or we run out room on the call, your money will be refunded.
If for whatever reason we don't see your purchase and never send you the invite, your money will be refunded. But again, be sure to check your spam filter and reach out to us if you don't receive the invite. We're not responsible if you don't read your email in time, don't respond to the invite, give us a bad email address, or otherwise don't see our communications.
If you decide between your purchase and the time of the call that you can't make it after all, your money will not be refunded, but feel free to give the Zoom URL to a friend instead.
The first in a series?
While this is intended to be the first in a weekly series, we'll have to see how this first one goes to determine a) whether and how often there will be more, and b) whether admission to them will be via a la carte purchases or in bulk, like you're signing up for a class.
You wonderful supporters are paying less than everyone else.
Note that you're paying the Citizen admission price. Please don't send the URL to this store item to anyone. Instead, within the next week (after all you supporters have gotten a chance to get your tickets), we'll be putting a higher-priced ticket on the public store, and you're free (and encouraged!) to send your less fervent PEL-loving friends to purchase a ticket through that.
